Loan Officer

CA, CO, TX, WA (Remote Available)

Drive your career forward as a licensed Loan Officer with RealMortgage. Help clients achieve their homeownership dreams while building a rewarding career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate and process mortgage loan applications
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, real estate agents, and referral partners
  • Analyze borrower financial information and credit data
  • Advise clients on loan products, rates, and terms
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Meet production goals and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Stay current on market trends and product offerings

    • Requirements

  • Active NMLS license (required)
  • Minimum 2 years of mortgage origination experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of conventional, FHA, VA, and jumbo loan products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with proven sales track record
  • Proficiency with loan origination software

    • NMLS Licensing Requirements

  • Complete 20 hours of NMLS-approved pre-licensing education
  • Pass the SAFE MLO Test with a score of 75% or higher
  • Complete background check and credit report review
  • Obtain state-specific licenses for each state you wish to originate in
  • Complete annual continuing education requirements (8 hours)
